Prayer Group meets every other Tuesday from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. 9/26 in Room 308 (Moore).
Creation Care
Memorial UMC is a member of One Home One Future, a multi-faith campaign to strengthen vitality, relevance, and community connection across generations in local congregations nationwide. We are part of a visible effort to invite creation care and climate action, no matter if you are just getting started or already engaging.
Initiatives take on site:
- Recycling in every room
- Refillable water bottle station
- LED lightbulbs
- "Turn Off Lights" and "Please Close Door" signs to save energy.
- Increasing use of real cups and utensils instead of single-use items
- Using up what we have instead of buying new (e.g. hospitality items and furniture)
- Xeriscaping with more to come.
- Composting is in discussion for the campus

- Wesley School (day care on our campus): healthy snack and diapers
- Harris Elementary (across the street): underwear & sports bras

Supporting and caring for those who are homebound or in desire of connection through visits, cards, phone calls, flowers, and more.
