ClassesGriefShare
Are you or a loved one grieving the loss of someone? Even though we aware that death comes, the journey of dealing with the grief can bring surprising feelings and thoughts. Register now for a 13 week seminar called Griefshare. There will be videos with various professionals that give tools for the journey.
GriefShare will meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
We will meet September 5 through December 5.
Sharing will be held in the Pearce Room.
GriefShare is the #1 grief recovery program in the world. We hope you'll join us for this Christ-centered program which helps people apply biblical principles as they deal with the emotions and life stresses following the death of a loved one.
Lectio Divina will be led by Pastor Robyn and will meet Wednesdays in September.
In Western Christianity, Lectio Divina (Latin for "Divine Reading") is a traditional monastic practice of scriptural reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God's word. In the view of one commentator, it does not treat Scripture as texts to be studied, but as the living word. (Wikipedia)
We'll meet in the Chapel from 12 - 1:00 the Wednesdays in September.

A-MAZing Creation4 Part Study: Native Plants & More
When God created the world, what did he place at what is now 6100 Berkman Drive? Come with us as we explore the natural world right at our doorstep. Ponder our role in the care of all that God made and called good.
This is an interactive, activity-led study that explores the relationship between our faith, the science, and the social/cultural facets of Memorial UMC’s physical location in northeast Austin. It is for anyone curious to explore conceptually. There is no obligation beyond being engaged in the study. However, what we discover may inspire and inform your participation in the care of creation.
